Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio SeaWorld® /Westover Hills

highly recommend this place!! we took our 2 yr old to sea world and the location was PERFECT, it was about 3 mins away. Carlos checked us in, he tried to give us a room with a bathtub but unfortunately they were all booked already, other than that we had a great stay we used the pool and the laundry room, room was very clean, had everything we needed. if we ever go back to san antonio we’d stay here again.

This is by far one of the best Marriott hotels I have stayed in. Aside from being newer, the staff (both night and morning) are very nice and cheerful. The room is very well designed. The most comfortable bed I think I have slept in, in any hotel. Clean bathroom with large shower. Good water quality and pressure. Traveling for long periods, laundry is always important. This facility has multiple sets of washer/dryers. Clean and card operated, not coin. Which is convenient. Breakfast accommodations are typical but with several more options than most. But the staff is very good at ensuring it's well kept throughout service.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. We went swimming at night, and the heated pool was so nice and refreshing. Afterward, we enjoyed sitting by the fire—it was the perfect way to end the evening. The kids absolutely loved it. The location was also a huge plus, with close proximity to SeaWorld. Johnny was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He made sure we were all set at both the pool and the fire pit, and he even came back multiple times to check on us. The customer service was exceptional, and we would definitely come back. And to top it all off, Johnny surprised us by bringing out hot cocoa for all 12 kids. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that made the night even more special. The kids were thrilled, and it really showed how much he cares about his guests and their experience. 10 Stars for Johnny!

Wow! This place is so clean, pretty, designed like a really nice apartment. Comfortable bed, amazing shower, great kitchen and little family room and this isn't even the high end room! I honestly don't want to leave. I've never written a review WHILE staying there! Friendly, smiling, kind staff as well!

I've stayed in a few bad hotels in the area, but this one is exactly what a hotel should be. Rooms are generous and include some drawers for clothes, a closet, bed is confortable, everything clean. Staff is nice including Joanne who called to wonder why I hadn't checked in for my 2nd reservation that the relocation team mistakenly made and she canceled it. Stayed 8 days, was great.

Last year I stayed in Marriot hotels for over 180 days and this hotel is good, but what it makes it exceptional are staff members like Carlos. This is my 4th time staying here and I am willing to pay the extra money for Carlos' customer service. Next level. Always polite, never bothered to assist, and simply consistent.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The location is great and the rooms are wonderful. Upon leaving, my daughter realized we left her watch. I called the hotel and Brent and his team made sure to get the watch back to us. They did it quickly and my daughter was delighted to get her watch back in just a few days(we are from out of town). They are wonderful and made us feel like we were staying with family. Highly recommend!

I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service we received from Carlos at the front desk during our stay. After a long day of travel and having to check-in late at night, Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His hospitality and professionalism immediately stood out. He welcomed us warmly, handled everything efficiently, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests rather than just another reservation. Carlos is easily one of the friendliest and most hospitable staff members I’ve encountered across all my stays at Marriott properties. He has a natural ability to create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a high level of professionalism. In fact, the level of service he provided felt more in line with what you would expect at a Ritz-Carlton. It truly felt like we were receiving Ritz-Carlton caliber service while staying at a Residence Inn and that speaks volumes about Carlos’s dedication to guest experience. This location is fortunate to have someone like Carlos representing their brand. He made our stay memorable from the very start, and his efforts absolutely deserve recognition.
